Traveling to Telluride and Lodging

Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) is 67 miles, a scenic 1.5 hour drive to Hotel Madeline, and offers direct flights from Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark, Phoenix and Salt Lake City.

 

Grand Junction Regional Airport is 130 miles and about a 2.5 hour drive via US-550. A larger airport with a higher number of daily flights, it is served by United, American, Delta and US Airways.

 

Telluride Express offers daily, shared shuttle rides from both Montrose and Grand Junction Regional Airports. Round trip fare from Montrose is $100 and $160 from Grand Junction.

 

Denver International Airport is 350 miles and about a 6.5 hour drive via via US-50 and US-285.

 

NOTE: It is worth considering using public transport to reach Telluride for the conference, parking at The Madeline Hotel costs $25 per day.

For the drink connoisseur, Black Iron Kitchen and Bar’s Libations Program offers guests a rotating selection of seasonal beers and specialty cocktails, as well as refined wines. Don’t fret – the SMAK Mary remains a feature on the menu.

Madeline’s new kids hangout, 20 Below (adults over 20 must be escorted by a kid), features a movie lounge, electronic gaming consoles, an art wall, and four MACs. This unique hangout also offers off-site activities.

 

The new Madeline Studio, a new yoga and Pilates facility now located adjacent to the main Hotel and Residence entrance. The Studio offers scheduled classes daily as well as private instruction.
